Spider Solitaire is a fast-paced solitaire variant with a competitive twist.
The goal of the game is simple: score more points than your opponent to win!
Basic Rules:
Arrange the Tableau stacks in King to Ace order.
Clear cards from the Tableau by making a full stack of King to Ace.
If you can’t make any more moves, draw new cards from the Draw pile.
If you make a mistake, use the Undo button. Drawing cannot be undone.
The match ends if all cards are cleared from the table or you run out of time.
Not all decks are solvable. If you run out of moves, Pause and select End Game.
Each match has a 5 minute time limit.
Each match of Spider Solitaire is played against another player to see who can get the highest score.
You are matched against players of similar skill, but you may not be playing at the same time.
Both players get the same arrangement of cards in the Tableau and Draw piles.
Solve more cards faster than your opponent to win!
In Spider Solitaire all cards are the same suit and there are 78 cards total, consisting of 6 sets of King through Ace.
The play area is made of two piles of cards: the Tableau stacks and the Draw pile.
Tableau Stacks:
38 cards total: 30 face-down and 8 face-up.
Drag and drop the cards in the Tableau to arrange them in King to Ace order.
Clear cards from the Tableau by making a full stack of King to Ace.
Any card can be placed in an empty stack.
Draw Pile:
40 cards total, all face-down until drawn.
When drawing cards, one card is placed in every Tableau stack even if it’s empty.
Undo:
If you make a mistake, use the Undo button.
Unlimited uses, but can only undo the most recent action.
Cannot undo clearing a stack or drawing cards.
Allows peeking at face-down cards and more, but use sparingly because...
You lose points if you undo revealing a face-down card.
Finishing Early:
Not all decks can be solved!
If you run out of moves, hit Pause and select End Game.
Recognizing when there are no more moves before your opponent is often the difference between victory and defeat.
